The 6th District of Masons  in Massachusetts is made up of 7 unique and active lodges dispursed throughout the towns of Norwood & Westwood.  Dating back to as early as 1796, members of these lodges enjoy a ritch heritage and ties to great Masons of history while also embracing the changing times and needs of its future members.
 
Celestial Lodge was chartered in 1866 and meets on the 2nd Wednesday of the month in the Westwood Masonic Building.

West Roxbury-Dorchester Lodge was merged in 1990 from Dorchester Lodge (1912) and West Roxbury Lodge (1919).  It meets on the first Wednesday of each month in the Westwood Masonic Building.

                                       Get active in the 6th District

District Holiday Ball
Each December, the constituent lodges of the 6th District  gather together and celebrate the holiday season with an annual "District  Holiday Ball".  With attendance approaching 200 Masons and their guests, attendees enjoy a fine catered dinner, dancing, professioal jazz band, and service by the wait-staff of the Apollo Function Facility in Norwood.

Memorial Day Parade
The annual Norwood Memorial Day parade has been a recurring event supported by the 6th District Masons in recent years.  Masons will gather and march throughout the parade route to much fan fair of town residents and local families.  At the conclusion of the parade, the Masons rededicate a plaque in front of the Police/Fire Station in town to the fallen heroes in Norwood followed by a catered lunceon for all in attendance.

Grand Master's Fair
Held each June at the Masonic Home in Charlton MA, the Fair offers something for everyone in the family.  Featuring rides for kids, artwork, a blood drive, games, crafts, music, and much more...  The 6th District hosts its own booth at the fair with a range of fun activities and/or free gifts for the children who attend.
